Driven

About 2 months ago I left my job at Campbell-Ewald and joined Driven. Driven is the most awesome ad agency in the world. It's not about politics, or who the creative director would rather hang out with on a shoot. It's all about the idea.

In a time where most ad agencies seem to cutting back we are on the verge of growing.

We must be doing something right.

The Journey Starts Tomorrow.

I'm returning to my very neglected blog.

Tomorrow I'm off to L.A. for the screenwriters expo and Golden Pitchfest.

I'll be pitching my ideas to agents and production companies. I'm pretty excited.

In my humble opinion I've grown as a writer.

The journey starts tomorrow.

I can't wait.

Where in the H have I been?

Well I've been ignoring my blog. I have no excuse except for laziness. That's right I've been lazy. But only here. Work has been crazy busy. We've been doing non-stop pitches. Advertising pitches are great. You get to give up weekends. Stay late. Eat bad sandwiches from Jimmy Johns. Lose sleep. Watch your cats poop on the rugs. But in the end you get to come up with cool ideas and wait for the client to call you back and choose your agency.

I've also decided to take a class. It's about writing for TV. I'm writing spec scripts for "The Office" and "Entourage." So far my ideas are going over pretty well.

This site is now going to chronicle my class and movie/dvd reviews. Those will start later this week.
